Neat Etna

I found this (probably very old) puzzle recently, and spent a while solving it while sitting in a doctor's waiting room. Find substitutions of integers (0-9) for letters for the following subtraction problem. There are no repeated digits (e.g. all the values are not all zero).

ANTE
- ETNA
------
NEAT

I'll put the solution here, plus my technique for solving it.

Juice

After trying to repair a PC in a lab at work with inadequate tools (my toolbox was at the other end of the building), I went out and bought a Leatherman Juice S2 pocket tool. It's not much bigger than the Swiss Army knife I've been carrying around for 20 years, and is a lot more useful.

It's only about 3 inches long, not nearly as unwieldy as the standard Leatherman tools, which are definitely not suited for pocket use. It has a needle-nose piers, wirecutter, knife blade, scissors, phillips driver, 3 flat screwdrivers, and a bottle opener. Highly recommended.
